I've been traveling to many of the wild places in Africa for over 20 years, and have an intimate knowledge of the finest wilderness areas on the continent.

I guide small groups (no bigger than 4 people) to the most beautiful and well-conserved wild places in Africa. I am friends with many of the best local guides on the continent, so I will often partner with them to create a highly personal experience for my guests. The focus of my trips is to help people reconnect with their own minds, bodies and souls. For this, I have learnt that it’s important to strip away the superfluous, and go back to basics. I would love my guests to experience wild Africa as a wild human being. To help them recalibrate themselves back to their original perfect human design. Barefoot, sun-kissed, smiling and fully present to the magnificence of wildlife in Africa. It is a privilege for me to see people become transformed by wild Africa.

So instead of staying at luxury lodges, where guests are overwhelmed by the fancy food, decor and overbearing atmosphere, I prefer to set up a comfortable camp in remote areas which are far away from other tourists. We will sleep on comfortable stretcher beds under the stars in the Central Kalahari. We will swim in remote mountain streams in the Drakensberg, or Cederberg or Aberdare Mountains. We will cook our food on a campfire in the middle of the Namib desert. We will walk with elephants in the middle of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. We will meditate on top of a koppie in the middle of the immense Karoo. We will hang out with lowland gorillas in the Congo forest.

Richtersveld National Park - South Africa

We will camp alongside the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe or Zambia, watching elephants wander by.  My trips are an immersion into African wilderness – always safe, always comfortable, always inspirational and always connected to the land and local people.  I will accompany you on the trips, and would be happy to share my photography skills with you, but ultimately, the trips are not about photography. They are about YOUR connection to Africa, and yourself. I will simply help you find that connection. Ultimately, I would love for my guests to experience the spirit of wild Africa.

Let's talk.
